Fiction reveals a different and unique voice of each human being.
The Institute of Fiction has officially started its work since mid-2020, focusing on the human storytelling aspect and paying special attention to this important issue in the three areas of education, research and publishing.
The institute, which is currently headquartered in Canada, is the product of the academic and formal formation of the Poitiqa collection, which started its activities in 1378/1999 under the supervision of Hadi Nouri in Mashhad, and since (1392/2013). Under the management of “Farhan Nouri”, it has continued on its own path until today. During this twenty-year period, the collection of poems has had a wide range of activities focusing on fiction, which are briefly mentioned as examples:
1. In the field of publishing, the publication of Hekayat Magazine, several special issues of Tak Magazine, the specialized quarterly of Botiqa and New Yorkfa Magazine.
۲. Holding various classes focusing on fiction in various educational and research centers.
3. Establishing regular weekly meetings during these two decades, which has been active in the three circles of storytelling, critique and translation.
Students of Botigha storytelling classes have won more than 50 literary ranks in recent years in competitions such as Sadegh Hedayat, Bahram Sadeghi, Jamalzadeh, Tehran Literary Award, Tabriz Literary Award, Bushehr Literary Award, Fereshteh Award, etc., and now the educational section. The institute is running workshops on storytelling in cinema and literature, creative writing, critical thinking, teaching philosophy, analytical approaches in cinema and literature, etc., which will soon be followed by specialized programs.
